  • Wpperks GD Option

Force the selection of parent category when child/subcategory is selected

  • Go to wp perks -> GD Option
  • Turn on option: Force the selection of parent category when child/subcategory is selected in
  • Go to Cpt -> Cpt Category
  • Create Child Category
  • Go to Add Listing
  • Add Listing, select the child category
  • If a child theme is selected, the parent category will automatically be selected

Force the parent category as the default category 

  • Go to wp perks -> GD Option
  • Turn on option: Force the parent category as the default category
  • Go to Add listing
  • Add a listing , select child category then the parent category will automatically become the default categories

Skip Parent categories for Package Category Counts

  • Go to wp perks -> GD Option
  • Turn on option: Skip Parent categories for Package Category Counts.
  • Go to CPT Setting -> Package
  • Select package, Setting Category Limit
  • Add child + parent category as much as the subscriptions package that you have
  • if you select child category, then parent category will not be counted
